ORANGE COUNTY PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSOCIATION MISSION STATEMENT
The Orange County Psychological Association, a chapter of the California Psychological Association, was organized in 1960 to advance psychology as a science in the promotion of human welfare. Our aim is to serve the community as well as the local psychologists.
Our service includes:
The improvement of the qualifications and usefulness of psychologists through high standards of professional ethics, conduct, education and achievement.
The advancement of scientific interests and inquiry; the application of research findings.
The increase and diffusion of psychological knowledge through meetings, discussions and achievement.
The dissemination of information to the Orange County community.
The Orange County Psychological Association (OCPA) is organized as a 501(c)(6) non-profit professional association for licensed psychologists and others affiliated with the delivery of psychological services.
